Wauchope Lasiandra Festival organisers are well underway to make this year’s 28th anniversary a spectacular affair.
Kick starting the festival will be the Rotary Swing Supper Dance to be held on Saturday, February 18 in the Wauchope Showground Hall.
A wonderful night is assured with entertainment by The Black Magic Big Band.
Cost is just $25 per person with BYO nibbles and drinks.
A light supper will be provided.
Proceeds raised will benefit the Wauchope District Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit.

The Purple People Cabaret evening with the Wauchope Youth Theatre, will be held at Wauchope RSL Club auditorium on Sunday, March 4 as a matinee from 2pm.

A new event on the festival calendar will be The Saint Patricks Day Purple Picnic to be held in Lasiandra Park, Cameron Street, Wauchope on Saturday, March 17 at 5pm.
A sausage sizzle will be in operation as well as Irish games and dancing.
The Lasiandra Country Fair will be held once again at Wauchope Indoor Sports Stadium in Cameron Street, on Saturday and Sunday, March 10-11.
Thursday, March 15 will see the Wauchope CBD a hive of activity with Purple People Shopping & Market Day in full swing.
