Teen injured in robbery

One teenager remains in hospital and a second teen has been charged following an alleged aggravated break, enter and steal at a bowling club in Forster.
About 4.55am on Friday, January 13, two males allegedly smashed a glass door and entered a club in Strand Street.
The pair, who had their faces covered, allegedly stole alcohol from the bottle shop and behind the main bar before being disturbed by cleaning staff.
Both males then left the premises.
Police attended and established a crime scene, locating a large amount of blood within the premises.
Investigators believe one of the alleged robbers was injured whilst smashing through the glass door to the building.
Police later attended Manning Base Hospital where they spoke with a 16-year-old male who is currently undergoing treatment for an arm injury.
Police searched a home in Forster and located a number of items.
A 17-year-old male was arrested at the premises and taken to Forster Police Station where he was later charged with one count of aggravated break, enter and steal.
He’s been refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court via video-link on Saturday.
Investigations are continuing.
