The breast cancer support group will be hosting their fifth Mini Field of Women event on Friday, September 21, at the Port Macquarie Library from 10am.
The event will be officially opened by Local MP Leslie Williams, followed by a morning tea. Guests will include Betty Allman on behalf of Hastings Cancer Trust and Robbie Butler who will offer a special song as a tribute.
The Mini Field of Women is a promotion of Breast Cancer Network Australia, and features a display of 100 pink lady silhouettes symbolising the approximately 14,000 Australian women diagnosed with breast cancer and the 2600 who die from it each year.
