A man who allegedly escaped from a correctional facility in the State’s north-west in April was re-captured on Saturday.
About 10.20pm on Monday, April 25, staff from a correctional facility in Coolabah Road, Gongolgon — 70km south of Brewarrina — advised police that three men had escaped from the centre.
Two men were recaptured on Saturday, April 30 hiding in a roof cavity in South Kempsey.
Following ongoing investigations, police attended a house on Keith Moses Crescent, West Kempsey, and arrested a 19-year-old man on Saturday.
He was taken to Kempsey Police Station and charged with an outstanding warrant.
He was refused bail and was due to appear in Port Macquarie Local Court.
