Residents will have their opportunity to learn and discover more about Australia’s National Broadband Network when the NBN Co Discovery truck visits Port Macquarie on Wednesday, August 1.
The mobile truck has toured more than 60 regional centres already, offering free presentations and information about the NBN rollout and bringing the National Broadband experience to life.
Hastings residents are invited to jump on board and experience the interactive demonstration centre with free 20-minute information sessions in the Discovery Truck, which will be available throughout the day.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council Manager Tourism and Economic Development, Linda Hall, said the NBN Co Discovery truck would provide practical information about the benefits the NBN can deliver for health education and business services.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for residents and businesses alike to learn more about the National Broadband Network first-hand through case studies, demonstrations and interactive displays,” Linda Hall said.
“The NBN Co team will be on hand all day to discuss any questions you have.”
The NBN Co Discovery truck will be stationed at the former Food for Less carpark on Wednesday, August 1 from 10am until 5pm.
Residents can drop in throughout the day or, to make a group booking of more than five people, please email demos@nbnco.com.au stating your preferred session time, list of attendees, including email addresses and a contact number.
