The Glasshouse, has successfully applied for over $50,000 in support under NSW’s Arts Funding Program (AFP).
Local MP Leslie Williams said $56,100 was approved to The Glasshouse from the NSW Government’s Regional Capital program for cultural facilities.
“The $56,100 will be used for the installation of cabling and infrastructure to enable a digital line to assist The Glasshouse to develop, present and promote live and interactive cultural programs to audiences in the region,” Mrs Williams said.
“Regional Capital funding is designed to support capital infrastructure projects which promote participation in, and access to, arts and cultural activities by diverse communities.
“This grant program can assist local councils to develop projects that add to a city or region’s cultural infrastructure and services. Arts NSW contributes up to 50 per cent of the cost of a project to successful organisations.”
