Home-based businesses in the Hastings area have the opportunity to learn about how to survive the tough times.
It’s ironic that the smallest of businesses have the least resources and yet, what most small businesses do have, is the lightness and flexibility to respond to market changes.
HBF Marketing/Media Coordinator, Pix Jonasson, said, “The Home Business Forum is thrilled to secure Melanie Wassfrom Natural Consulting for its next meeting.”
Ms Jonasson said, “Some people think, to get ahead in tough times, they need to throw money around. That’s not the case. Ms Wass will present what smart business operators do.
“Ms Wass’s session is about being practical in what small businesses can do without needing deep pockets. She will demonstrate what people can do to generate more activity in their business,” said Ms Jonasson.
“People will learn the only three ways to drive revenue, no matter what the market conditions; the two critical digital marketing tools people need; and how to easily get things in place to leverage your effort and drive more activity.
“Like traditional retail, home businesses are doing it tough out there. It will be great to have someone of Melanie Wass’s experience consulting and building a successful business present locally to the HBF members and guests,” Pix Jonasson said.
“Ms Wass will follow an interactive session, facilitated by Liz Paine, Learning Insight, also an HBF member, where attendees will explore time management principles.”
All home-based businesses, including those who may operate externally but who have a home office, are invited to attend the next HBF meeting on Friday, September 28, 9.30am — 12.30pm, at Town Green Inn. For further information, contact Pix Jonasson on 0418 211 738 or email Pix@SuccessDynamicsGroup.comor go to: www.HomeBusinessForum.org.au
