A night out turned into a terrifying experience for a 77-year-old woman.
Just after 8pm on Sunday night, the woman and her husband were returning to their motel after going to a nearby club.
Whilst walking through the car park towards reception, an unknown male wearing a hoodie has grabbed the woman’s handbag from her shoulder and run off, causing the elderly woman to fall backwards, hitting the back of her head on the pavement.
Police were patrolling nearby and attended to the aid of the women before patrolling the area with other Police vehicles. Police are asking anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
