HUNDREDS of fans of The Block television renovation series turned out to meet some of the stars of the series when they visited Port Macquarie on the weekend.
The Block Fans versus Faves contestants Kyal and Kara visited Trademark Mitre 10 in Barton Crescent to share some behind-the-scenes stories and antics which did not make it to air.
Many of Mitre 10s major suppliers were also in attendance to offer their own specialist advice. There was also a sausage sizzle run by the Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service, face-painting for the kids, in-store specials and a huge range of prizes and give-aways on the day.
The visit was part of a three-week road trip to 30 Mitre 10 stores to celebrate the ongoing success of Mitre 10’s partnership with Channel Nine’s The Block.
