TIME is running out for Mid North Coast organisations to apply for infrastructure grants under the ClubGRANTS category 3 program.
Deputy Premier and Oxley MP Andrew Stoner said the establishment of the category 3 program was a commitment the State Government made, in partnership with ClubsNSW, before the 2011 state election.
“ClubGRANTS category 3 funds are now available to assist with building, upgrading, renewing or acquiring land or property for community sport and recreation infrastructure facilities that are of high quality, accessible, sustainable, well used and effectively managed,” Mr Stoner said.
“Organisations eligible to apply include not-for-profit organisations and local councils that have the right to use the land and/or facility for which the grant is being sought.
“To be eligible to apply, projects must have been given relevant planning and building approvals or be in the process of obtaining these approvals.”
“Expressions of interest must be lodged by 4 April and then applications lodged by 10 April.
“Funding applications will be assessed by a ClubGRANTS Fund Committee which will consider a project’s potential community impact as well as the overall quality of the facility or venue, the capacity of the applicant organisation to deliver the project and its value for money.”
