THE next stage in a major subdivision near Port Macquarie is about to start.
The Lewis Land Group announced significant next steps for the Sovereign Hills development near the doughnut last week.
LLG CEO Chris Calvert said construction would start shortly on the next precinct of 225 residential allotments.
“This new area will be known as College Rise precinct, with construction to commence in early July after completion of the earthworks and the bridge over Partridge Creek,” Mr Calvert said.
“This follows the success of the Barton Ridge precinct, which comprised 95 residential allotments including the Homeworld Builders Exhibition Village.”
He said the initial stages of College Rise, situated at the northern point of the Sovereign Hills development, will comprise 84 allotments on elevated land with picturesque views.
Marketing of the allotments will commence shortly.
In parallel to the development of the new residential allotments, LLG has also commenced the planning and design process for the adjacent new town centre, which will include a supermarket and speciality shops.
The College Rise precinct will adjoin the already completed St Joseph’s Catholic College which caters for up to 1200 students.
