FOUR local businesses will go on to represent Port Macquarie at state level after winning categories at the NSW Business Chamber regional business awards.
The four were Pycon Homes and Constructions (Excellence in Small Business), Kathy Balodis, Macquarie Waters Boutique Apartment Hotel (Business Leader), Enterprise and Training Company (Excellence in Business Ethics) and Charles Sturt University (Excellence in Innovation).
The wins took out four of the 10 categories at the awards, which were presented at a dinner function at Rydges in Port Macquarie on Friday attended by more than 170 people.
They will now go on to the state awards, which will be held in Sydney at the Australian Technology Park on Friday 29 November.
This is the first time a regional awards has been held, with previously local winners progressing straight to the state awards.
