Pirates share the plunder

THE Port Macquarie Pirates rugby union club held their presentation night on Friday night. About 145 people attended the awards, which were held at the Westport Club, the Pirates’ major sponsor.
In the under-16s, best back was Tully Mailo, best forward Kaes Besseling, best-and-fairest Wyatt Carmen, players player Jaiden Crosbie, coaches award Jamieson Williams and most improved Werner Coetzer.
In the under-18s, best back was Rhys Martin, best forward Tom Blanch, best-and-fairest Ryan Kenny-Wilson, players player Tim Williams, coaches award Casey Henderson, most improved Riley Mahon. The Golden Oldies encouragement award went to Alex Newell.
In reserve grade, best-and-fairest went to Geff Keighley, best back Tim Boyle, best forward Jeremy Mckechnie, players player Aaron Robinson, coaches award Rodel Glanville, most improved Bruce Mcleod.
In first grade, best back was Jacob Law, best forward Chris Geary, best-and-fairest Johnnie Hoy and Korie Paio, players player Korie Paio, most improved Nic Hurlston.
Coaches award went to Tim Sales, footballer of the year was Sam McNeil and clubman of the year Doug Piper.
