THE Port Macquarie Rotary Club held a successful charity golf day on Friday, 20 September.
Col Pickering of Rotary said one of the keys to the success of the day was participation and the atmosphere that surrounded it.
“On the day, all the golfers went home feeling good about the part they played in raising money for Lifeline Mid Coast,” he said.
Catherine Vaara the CEO of Lifeline Mid Coast was presented with a cheque for the proceeds of the day, which raised $3500.
“I would like to thank Rotary for supporting our efforts to reduce the impact of suicide in our region,” she said.
