PIERROT and Pierrette, fire twirlers, acrobats, musicians and a side show alley will all feature at a vintage-circus-meets-masquerade-ball fund-raising event at Port Macquarie TAFE tomorrow night, Friday 6 June.
Students from the Certificate III in Events are hosting Le Cirque Masque and will transform the Graduates Restaurant to revel in nostalgia, bohemia and savoir fair as part of their final assessment.
Another important goal of the evening is to break last year’s record in raising funds for the Port Macquarie Animal Welfare Service, while giving guests the opportunity to win plenty of amazing prizes.
Certificate III in Events student Sarah Bax said they were excited about combining the themes of mystery and vintage and, importantly, the opportunity to help a local charity with fund-raising.
“I’m absolutely looking forward to a fun night with lots of entertainment, atmosphere and prizes and hope the community can join us,” she said.
“Local businesses have been so generous and we’d like to thank them for all their valuable support.”
Le Cirque Masque will be held at the Graduates Restaurant at Port Macquarie TAFE from 6pm to midnight.
