FEDERAL Lyne MP Dr David Gillespie met 80 students, teachers and parents of Port Macquarie’s St Columba Anglican School last week.
The school group was visiting Parliament House in Canberra as part of their annual trip to the nation’s capital.
During the visit to Parliament House, the students took part in the Parliamentary Education Office’s student program, including a mock parliamentary debate.
Dr Gillespie spoke to the group about his work as an MP, particularly his activities during parliamentary sitting weeks in Canberra.
