PORT Macquarie Hotel’s Social Golf Club will host its first ever charity golf day on Sunday 9 March at the beautiful Emerald Downs Golf Course.
The event is open to all and is set to be a memorable day of friendly competition, great prizes, good food and great raffles all to raise funds for charity.
Proceeds from the event will go to JM Joeys (a juvenile myositis foundation), which seeks to raise awareness and support for those diagnosed with this rare life-threatening auto-immune condition that affects children.
The golf day will start with breakfast at 7am with a shotgun start at 8am. The ambrose event will be arranged into teams of four but the club encourages anyone to join in, with or without a team – they will arrange one for you.
After the 18 holes of golf, all will be welcome at Port Macquarie Hotel for after-game drinks and raffles. Port Macquarie Hotel will be donating $1 per drink purchased by participants.
