THE Hastings Disabled Surfing Group will kick off the season with their first event on Saturday 9 November.
The venue this year will be Flynns Beach. Sign on for volunteers and participants will be 9am with surfing to start at 9.30am and a sausage sandwich at about 12.30pm.
This year the committee consists of Jeff Forrester (president), Jen Knox (secretary/treasurer) and Dave Hancock equipment officer. Sponsors are Grumpy’s Meats and Bel’s Bakery.
