LOCAL dance students are in for a treat this Saturday when Wauchope and Port Macquarie Performing Arts host TV dance superstars.
Keiynan Lonsdale and Dena Kaplan from ABC3’s Dance Academy will be in Port Macquarie for a day of dance masterclasses and the students are looking forward to high-energy classes with their TV idols.
“It’s so exciting to have Dena and Keiynan here for a workshop with local dance students,” principal Stacey Morgan said.
“We first told the kids that they were coming by skyping Dena at her house in Melbourne. The kids screamed when they saw who was on the other line.
“Students will have the opportunity not only to train with Keiynan and Dena but also to take part in a question-and-answer session followed by the chance to have photos and get autographs.
“The class is open to dance students no matter where they train because we love sharing our passion for dance and the country’s best teachers with all Mid North Coast students. But get in early as it will sell out fast.”
The masterclasses will be staged at WPMPA’s new studio at 4 Albert circuit, Port Macquarie.
