THIS weekend, Rotary will again be conducting the Giant Book Sale at Port Panthers Club.
The sale will run from on Friday night (from 5pm to 9pm), all day Saturday (from 9am to 8pm) and on Sunday morning (9am to noon).
A spokesperson said there would be more than 50,000 pre-loved books on sale – as well as DVDs, CDs, vinyl records and sheet music – all at discounted prices.
“There will be something for everyone to read,” he said.
“Proceeds will be donated back to the community and to designated national and international Rotary projects.
“Last year, we raised just under $17,000 from the books sale and we are hoping to top that this year.”
