THE Inner Wheel Club of Port Macquarie West recently extended the hand of friendship across the oceans to their Inner Wheel sisters in Northern India.
Two of the women from the club were part of a Rotary friendship exchange to Northern India.
This was the first time Inner Wheel members had visited this part of India and they received a warm welcome.
The women exchanged gifts and the two clubs also exchanged banners depicting points of interest in their respective areas.
Membership of Inner Wheel in India is a prestigious honour and most women are educated and successful in their chosen professions. They are committed to helping the poor in various ways.
