THE Hastings District Cricket defending premiers Port City Leagues Magpies welcome all past, present and new players of all ages and ability to sign on for the 2013-’14 season which gets underway in October.
Training at the Oxley Oval nets will officially commence this Sunday September 15 from 10am and then continue on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4.30 where you can also sign-on for the new season. Training and Rego Days will also be held on Sunday 22 and 29 September at the same venue.
The Port City Leagues Magpies are one of the longest-running and most successful clubs in the HRDCA, having claimed 10 First Grade Premierships since they first took the field in 1967.
The Leagues ‘Pies were also runners-up in the May Kelly Twenty20 Cup and second grade competitions last season and won the fourth grade title.
