SEVERAL local projects are among those funded in the NSW Government’s 2013 Community Building Partnership Program.
The projects to receive funding in the Oxley electorate include:
* Hastings Woodworkers Guild – $9893 for ceiling insulation and a wiring upgrade.
* Port Macquarie Hastings Council – $11,000 for refurbishment works at the Beechwood School of Arts Hall.
* Port Macquarie Hastings Council – $5000 for replacement of roof Wauchope Rotary Youth.
NSW Deputy Premier and Oxley MP Andrew Stoner said the NSW Government was getting on with the job to rebuild NSW by investing almost $60 billion for infrastructure across the state over the next four years.
“While we are delivering major infrastructure projects like the upgrade of the Pacific Highway to dual carriageway, we understand the importance of local community infrastructure and potential benefits for local businesses,” he said.
