Local teams out of touch

THE 2013 New South Wales Touch Football State Cup was played in Port Macquarie last weekend, with the spoils going to away teams, despite the best endeavours of the Hastings teams.
In the mixed open, Eastern Suburbs Roosters won after defeating Murwillumbah Mavericks 5-3; Peninsula Piranhas won the bowl for defeating Wagga Wagga 8-; Lower Blue Mountain Rangers won the plate, defeating Eastern Suburbs Roosters (2) 7-6.
