AT the February meeting of the Port Macquarie CWA, president Alice Miller welcomed several new members including some who have transferred from other branches.
The twilight supper held in January was deemed a great success with the funds raised donated to medical research.
International officer Patricia Urban has visited Canberra to learn more about Botswana which is our international country of study for 2014. International Day will be held on 25 June.
The Port Macquarie branch will be represented at the Seniors Lifestyle Expo at Port Macquarie Panthers on 17 March.
Guest speaker for the month was Kathy Eggert. Kathy has a farm at Beechwood where she grows garlic, and she gave an excellent presentation on garlic.
