HELP is needed to ensure that one of the most important events on the local Christian calendar goes ahead.
From humble beginnings eight years ago in Max and Karen Davies’ home, Christmas on the Beach has continued to grow and be a vital part of the community calendar.
“Every year it amazes us just how wonderful the day is for many people who are alone at such a special wonderful time,” said Karen, part of the leadership team at Port City Church.
“People from all walks of life enjoying the true meaning of Christmas as a family.”
Karen said more than 350 people attended during the day last year and at least the same numbers were expected this year.
However, the event takes hard work and donations to stage.
“We urgently need finance and helpers for before, during and after the event,” Karen said.
“If there is any way that you can help makes Christmas day a wonderful time for others please contact us.”
