THE annual Pacific Coast Slam at the Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium kicked off on the weekend, with hundreds of basketballers and their families hitting town to do battle.
The event started with team training on Sunday and a three-on-three comp on Monday, culminating in semi-finals tomorrow and the finals and closing ceremony on Saturday.
“There are plenty of Port kids in action and representative teams from all over NSW and even New Zealand are making the trip to Port, so make sure you come down to watch some great action,” a spokesperson for the Port Macquarie Basketball Association said.
