Art holds court

Cathy Nance, left, and Patricia Dent, both from Port Macquarie, are among those who have works entered in the exhibition.

THE Port Macquarie Art Society will be staging its annual Easter art exhibition again this year.
The event will be a smaller event than previous years, but will still include substantial prizes donated by local businesses across eight categories.
The exhibition is being held at the historic court house on the corner of Clarence and Hay streets in Port Macquarie from today until Monday 21 April. Opening hours will be 10am to 6pm, apart from the last day when it will close at 4pm.
Categories include watercolour, pastels, printmaking, contemporary, drawing and religious art.
