FESTIVAL-GOERS who purchase their tickets today for this year’s Wingham Akoostik Music Festival will be in the running for a chance to win an Akoostik Music Bundle valued at more than $500.
Event co-ordinator Donna Ballard said one lucky Akoostik supporter who purchased their early-bird tickets would be rewarded with a fantastic Akoostik package featuring CDs, merchandise from Akoostik artists and vouchers from businesses.
“Winners will be drawn late this afternoon and notified via phone to arrange collection of their Akoostik Music Bundle,” she said.
“We thank the many generous artists and businesses who have kindly donated to this valuable prize on offer.”
Ms Ballard said they had run a number of different competitions this year and had received good interest from the public.
“It’s great that locals and music lovers further afield have been supporting our festival via the competitions,” she said.
