The heart of the matter

In Hearts Wake ... coming to Port Macquarie in January.

AUSSIE band In Hearts Wake will be hitting the Hastings early next year, with bands Hand of Mercy and Hellions in tow.
The visit is part of an extensive tour comprising more than 100 live shows, between Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Europe, since the August 2012 release of their sophomore album Divination.
Hailing from Byron Bay, the guys have a close affinity with regional areas and are really excited for their upcoming Skydancer tour. Skydancer is the name their latest single and also a community fund-raising project the band launched last month to help support less fortunate members of local communities. You can check out more about the project here: http://skydancerproject.com
Vocalist Jake Taylor said the Skydancer tour was a fantastic opportunity for the bad to play regional Australia.
“Some of the remote towns we’re playing don’t usually get many shows so we’ll be making new ground. Ticket prices will be low and the venues will be small, close, intimate and personal. It’s going to be fun, just how hard core’s meant to be!” he said.
Joining In Hearts Wake are Sydney locals Hand of Mercy, who will hit the ground running after completing the Never Say Die tour throughout Europe/UK and the Vans Warped tour in Australia. Hellions, also In Hearts Wake’s close friends, will add their flavour of hard core to the mix – another up-and-coming act showing an immense amount of promise.
The bands will be performing at The Hub in Port Macquarie on 16 January.
Tickets are available from www.inhearswake.oztix.com.au and Oztix outlets.
