PORT Macquarie High School represented NSW in Dairy Australia’s Cows Create Careers ‘Moo’in Transfer’ at the Australian Dairy Conference.
The project saw students from across the nation design an advertisement on how to convince consumers that dairy is an essential part of their diet.
Port Macquarie High School was selected to participate due to their outstanding achievements in the Cows Create Careers – Farm Module project over a number of years.
Bernie High School took out the trophy and $500 prize but Dairy Australia’s Isabel MacNeill congratulated all teams on their outstanding efforts.
‘Moo’in Transfer’ forms part of Dairy Australia Cows Create Careers – Farm Module project. Cows Create Careers is a six-week program that aims to increase the awareness of dairy industry careers in a very hands-on way. The program is strongly supported by the dairy industry, and schools participating at the Australian Dairy Conference received partial funding towards their travel and accommodation.
