HASTINGS LADY GOLFERS
HASTINGS lady golfers are back in full swing for 2014, with 30 members teeing up at Port Macquarie course on Monday 20 January for a stableford competition.
In division 1 handicaps 1-17, the winner with 20 pts was Marie Holloway and the runner-up with 19 pts on a countback was Carol Walker.
In division 2 handicaps 18-23, the winner with 22 pts was Bea Hall while the runner-up was Rose Buckley with 20 pts. In division 3 handicaps 24-27, the winner with 21 pts was Lynne Frances and the runner-up was Kim Stonestreet with 20 pts.
NTP 16 was Narelle Quinn while gobblers were recorded by Marie Horan, Maureen Seery, Ronda Laws, Dot Ball and Lynne Frances. Narelle Quinn scored a birdie on the 12th. Next Mondays competition is a stableford at Emerald Downs and also the book and DVD sales day.

WAUCHOPE LADIES
FORTY-ONE ladies competed in an 18-hole stableford event on Wednesday 15 January. Winner was Wendy Price with 38 points to runner-up junior player Emma Dietrich with 37 points. NTP on the 4th was Jo Horton and Jane Horne on the 18th. Balls were awarded to 30 points or better. Next week’s event is a 4BBB.
Seventeen ladies competed in an 18-hole stableford event on Saturday 18 December. Winner with 37 points was Jeanette Hardy. Runner-up was Jenny Jackson on 33 points. NTP on the 4th was Carolyn Gamble and Jeanette Hardy claimed the honour on the 18th. Balls were awarded to 30 points or better on a countback. There were no birdies or gobbles for the day.
