Boat capsizes, fisherman dies

A BRIEF is being prepared for the Coroner following the death of a fisherman.
About 8.30am on Saturday 19 April, emergency services responded to reports of a capsized boat and three people in the water at North Haven.
Police were told the fishing boat flipped in rough water at the mouth of the Camden Haven Inlet, throwing its three occupants – two men and a girl – overboard.
All three were wearing lifejackets.
One male and the child made it to shore, but a man in his sixties died before he could be rescued.
