POLICE are appealing for information after the armed robbery of a club at Wauchope on Thursday night.
About 10.10pm a staff member at the Wauchope Country Club was approached by three males who had their faces concealed and were carrying firearms and knives.
Police have been told staff and patrons were threatened and the three men demanded money from the safe.
After being given a quantity of cash the males were last seen running through a nearby reserve.
No shots were fired and there have been no reports of injury. A search of the area including nearby Bruxner Street was conducted but to no avail.
The first male is described as being 185cm tall and of slim build. He was last seen wearing dark blue track pants, a black hooded top and white shoes.
The second male is of slim build and 182cm tall with dark skin. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.
The third man is described as being 179cm tall, of stocky build and dark skin. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.
The club declined to comment publicly about the robbery.
