IF YOU have ever thought of playing softball, now is your chance.
The Camden Haven Port Macquarie Softball Association will hold another sign-on day for junior and senior players on Saturday 28 September, at Finlay Park between 9am and noon.
All junior players interested in joining the “Batter Up” program designed for ages four to 12 can register to play.
All new junior players registering to play will receive a glove, cap and shirt for a fee of $55.
Players re-registering will be charged as per age group: 4-6 years $10, 7-11 years $25, 12 years $35. There are no ongoing costs.
Players over 12 are also welcome to register.
Competition starts 12 October, breaking for the Christmas holidays on 14 December and resuming on 1 February next year. Games are played each Saturday at Finlay Park, Port Macquarie with games being held at 2pm and 4pm.
Teams entered in the competition come from Forster, Kempsey, Wauchope and Port Macquarie.
