THE Hasting Bonsai Group is holding its three-day bonsai exhibition this weekend, starting on Friday, at Port Macquarie Panthers.
This will be the first major exhibition for the group, which started only in June of last year and already has 75 members.
More than 100 bonsai trees will be on display, including a Japanese black pine up to 55 years old, junipers, elms and maples.
Trees will be exhibited in all forms, from traditional bonsai to rock plantings and landscapes.
Money raised will go to the Westpac Helicopter Service.
