SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD Tegan Wiseman hails from the Mid North Coast, where she lives on a property with her parents.
A songstress of sorts, where vocally she is often compared to Missy Higgins, she writes music inspired by life’s experiences, the lessons we all eventually learn and is passionate about exploring the idea of “growing up”.
Determined to play music in its most raw and unguarded form, this singer-songwriter-guitarist delivers an honest performance inspired by the likes of George Harrison and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
Although starting to play professionally only in early 2013, Tegan is known throughout her area and regularly plays at such venues as The Pier pub and The Fig restaurant, local markets and festivals and has supported the likes of legendary Ian Moss, Diesel, Claude Hay and Andy Brown (Canada).
In early 2013 Tegan released her debut single, Three More years, which is available via iTunes
Tegan’s widely anticipated second single, where she plays all instruments herself, entitled Hearth and Home, will be released on 22 March.
Tegan will host an official release event at The Youth Hub in Port Macquarie.
