Tips for the bottom line

Local business operator Chris Denny, the director of The Observatory, will be the next guest speaker.

MICRO-BUSINESSES in the Hastings area have been invited to learn how passion and processes lead to business success at the upcoming bi-monthly Micro Business Forum meeting at Town Green Inn next month.
MBF speaker liaison Pix Jonasson said guest speaker Chris Denny, the director of The Observatory, would share his tips for success and speak about providing service excellence and maintaining that ever-so-important balance between people, profit and planet.
“In its short history and under the guidance of Chris and his wife Trish, The Observatory has already become acknowledged as one of the most successful strata tourism properties and sustainability pioneers in NSW and Australia,” Ms Jonasson said.
“Its unequalled raft of recognitions include winner of the NSW Business Chamber’s award for Excellence in Sustainability and the NSW Tourism-Qantas Gold Award for Excellence in Sustainable Tourism.”
MBF members and guests are asked to bring their burning questions about business and join Chris in this interactive session to learn how to get their business on fire.
Prior to Chris’s presentation, the 2014 MBF AGM will be held, but this would be extremely short so people who would like to hear Chris speak should not be deterred.
“There are some vacancies for membership secretary, secretary and committee member, providing great opportunities for professional development,” Ms Jonasson said.
Nomination forms are available by contacting MBF president Barbara Smith on 0410 420 799 or email rovingtrainer@gmail.com
All small business owners are invited to attend the MBF meeting, which will be held on Friday 4 April from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Town Green Inn.
