I wrote to the press and coroner about Azaria Chamberlain being taken by a dingo without result.
Dingos short-cut across my property between forests and I have seen one carrying a full grown pademelon wallaby by the throat at a fast pace. A dingo would have no trouble picking up a small child by the throat and carrying it, clothing would come off by dragging or by a simple downward pull of a front foot, the fragile skull and bones would have been crushed and devoured—the same as a young wallaby, lamb or calf.
City experts have no idea of the strength and intelligence of dingos—that is why they form the base of our best working dogs.
