I wish to advise the valued members of the local media that Mrs Therese Mackay is to shortly leave the Hastings district.
She is going to move to Victoria in order to live close to one of her daughters.
As many of you remember, Mrs Mackay and her husband Don Mackay, now deceased were, in November 2004, the recipients of the highly prized Media Irritation Award due to their many commentaries on any and every subject, as was duly noted by the Editor of the Port News, Mrs Janine Graham.
We salute Mrs Therese Mackay for her staunch and unflagging interest on any and every subject in our beloved Hastings area and we wish her all the best for the future in her new place of abode in Victoria. No doubt the Victorian Media will hear from her in due time.
