IPART’s 12.5 per cent (14.1 per cent with GST) approval in electricity rate increase by Country Energy (come Essential Energy) last July, has provided abundant funds for the recent $2m office renovations in Port.
IPART’s 22 per cent approval hike in electricity rates from July 1 this year should provide even more slush funds for splendorous renovations and junkets for electricity managers in our winter of cold.
