Stephen Lockhart is dreaming if he thinks those who disagree with his “carbon economy’ philosophy will lie down passively. The debate hasn’t moved on as many of us do not agree with the science and economics of action on climate change (positive frame to climate action required, December, 22, 2011).
Mr Lockhart states that he relies absolutely on the peer reviewed climate science by those professionals each working in their associated fields. Naturally the science fraternity would say that there was a level of consensus on anthropogenic climate change to cover their hides. There have been two climategate email scandals where dishonest scientists have tried to cover up the flaws in their manmade climate change debate.
Mr Lockhart is gullible if he believes that the level of consensus that exists around climate science is unequivocal. It is controlled by top scientists in America and Britain who fudge the statistics and intimidate scientists who disagree with their ideology. Many have shares in companies that profit from carbon trading and they have a vested interest in propagating their “science’.
Google Climategate Anthropogenic Global warming, history’s biggest scam and Climate Change; this is the worst scientific scandal of our generation. Margaret Thatcher (former British PM who founded the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) was concerned that IPCC members were extremist in their views and using the climate change debate to push forward a socialist agenda.
I’m glad I’m a “sceptic’ as the alarmists like to call people who are sceptical of their science and economics. I would prefer not to trust in those unethical scientists who are more concerned about their government grants than the truth.
