The Australian Diabetes Council Hastings Support Group’s seminar was a huge success and our thanks to our wonderful speakers Sue Leahy, Dr Jeremy Rourke, Linda Grant, Ann and Eric Carney and Pam Laundry for their brilliant and informative presentations.
To Neil Porter for opening the seminar, Athletes Foot, Specsavers, Terry White Chemist, Johnson and Johnson and Judy Tod and Margaret Hollis, thanks for their displays and donating the lucky door prizes.
A huge thank you to the Uniting Church for their magnificent venue, Ray and Jenny for the amazing food and Callum the technical whizz.
The members of the group and to all those people who came to the seminar, we hope to see you next year.
The next meeting will be on Thursday, August 9, at 114 Bridge Street in the community room at 2.30pm.
