Colleen Carmody, who is standing for Council elections in Port Macquarie, indicates (Port Macquarie Independent, June 21,2012) that pedestrian safety and the installation on busy roads, such as Hastings River Drive, and Gordon Street, of Pedestrians Crossings is much needed. How heartening. But I would ask, if she is able to carry out these tasks, that she begins at Gordon Street, Kooloonbung Creek area before a fatality occurs.
