Fluoride risk for renal dialysis patients

I would assume that the Port Macquarie and Hastings Council as well as Ms Jillian Skinner and the NSW Health epartment have acted to protect those people in the Hastings who need renal dialysis against Fluoride poisoning which has and is known to have immediately fatal outcomes should fluoride be in the water used for all dialysis. No doubt the local doctors have all warned their patients of this new impost on their health.
The Chicago Sun-Times (July 31, 1993) reported: “Fluoride Blamed in three Deaths: Traces found in Blood of U of C Dialysis Patients. Fluoride poisoning was blamed Friday in the July 16 deaths of three dialysis patients at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Because large volumes of water are used in dialysing kidney patients, they can accumulate harmful amounts of fluoride if the water is untreated”. This happened!
What directives have been given to ensure no fluoridated water is used in Renal Dialysis in hospital? How are home dialysis patients being protected?
What financial help have they been given to ensure that the water they use is fluoride free? Has the Health Dept or Council supplied them with fluoride free water free of charge as one would expect?
As well, there are many people in the community with failing kidneys from high BP and other causes – eg, Diabetes. Who is looking out for them? What about the severely disabled such as my husband, whose whole body system was compromised with Quadriplegia?
A number one priority for those with chronic illness is a clean water supply. How are these people being helped to access clean water?
Chlorine can be cheaply and easily removed; not so Fluoride. It is expensive to remove this poison. This is an unnecessary impost which is beyond many, especially those with chronic illnesses. Who looks after them?
Mr Porter or Ms Skinner? I think we all know the answer to this.
