Wealth of experience

The decision by former councillor, Lisa Intemann, to contest the September council elections is good news for our community. Her decision to put her hand up for the job of mayor is also good reason for celebration.
Lisa will bring to the new council a wealth of experience gleaned during her 13 years  of service to local government.
She has proved she can do the job.
As one of only two members of the previous council (Jamie Harrison the other) to make a stand against the reckless spending that created the huge blowout in cost of the Glasshouse, Lisa showed her commonsense and her willingness to listen to the community. She is the obvious leader for a new council made up of citizens, no matter how earnest and well meaning, who are inexperienced in local government.
We need Lisa on the new council and we need her as mayor.
