Hearty congratulations to David Gillespie and his team who cleaned up the beach and picnic area at Oxley Beach on Clean Up Australia Day. I was stunned by the number of bags of rubbish the 20 volunteers from the National Party collected. Full credit must go to Mr Bill Yates who drove his truck and removed the rubbish. The spirit of this great land is outstanding.
