I would like to publicly express my appreciation to Mr Peter Ally (Country Labor spokesperson) for his achievement on behalf of the Bobs Creek residents in having the Bobs Creek Road entrance off the Pacific Highway – a lot safer to turn in.
I first went to see Leslie Williams as our representative to government departments when having no success with the RTA or the company in charge of the future flyover near this point. I was assured four times she would get back to me, but she never bothered – I guess her words come easier than her actually trying to do something.
After Mr Ally’s efforts, of which he kept me informed, finally common sense prevailed and action was taken. Thank you Peter Ally, because of your actio. It didn’t take four deaths before something was done, as it did further north.
