What’s out there

John Lusk has come up with many alternate base load energy sources, although some are not viable and may not be available for large communities and worldwide use until the next century.  (No more secrets, Your Letters, June 2)
Governments are not hiding the existence of extraterrestrial visitors to our planet as Mr Lusk suggests.  The common belief in ETs is the perfect ruse for governments to conduct covert biological and scientific experiments. There are many movies and documentaries about Area 51 which sidetrack people and they become fascinated about the prospect of ET visitations.
Many UFOlogists believe UFOs are paranormal activity as the ‘flying saucers’ are nebulous and dart around doing extraordinary movements that defy the laws of physics.
Many victims who have abduction experiences, which surface under hypnotherapy, are convinced that they had a terrifying encounter with aliens.
I believe it is part of the occult world and these visions are evil spirits from another dimension. Testimonies of people in the Middle East, India and South America have confirmed that demon possession and psychic phenomena is a common occurrence.
There will be no assistance from ETs to help us with the energy crisis.  We will have to look to ourselves.
