Independent MP for Lyne Rob Oakeshott has delivered. Rob has weathered months of vile attacks both personally and politically, but he has been steadfast in his dedication to working for this electorate. Today we welcomed the news that Mr Oakeshott has been successful in securing the most significant funding for any regional hospital ever, in $110 million guaranteed for not only the 4th but also the 5th pod at the Port Macquarie Base Hospital. Well done ROB! Never again, can anyone say a vote for an Independent is a wasted vote. It’s refreshing and comforting to know that our Independent representatives at both State and Federal levels will act and deliver, not make empty promises during election campaigns that they (the major parties) have no intention or the finances to deliver.
Our Independent Representatives have backbones and integrity and we as a community ‘win’.
